Owed is a short comedy-thriller film I wrote, shot, and edited during the intense lockdown restrictions of early 2021. Because of this, the film suffered from being able to use filming locations that were intended to be used, and so the script had to go through many rewrites and setbacks making the film quite a testament to guerrilla filmmaking. Although it’s extremely rough looking back, it was a great learning experience for me as it was my first time creating and editing a short film and helped me to develop my improvisational skills when on set.
