A music video I filmed and edited for college for the Arctic Monkeys song ‘Red Lights Indicate Doors Are Secured’. This music video was filmed over two nights under lockdown restrictions in December 2020. It features extremely fast paced quick cut techniques as well as being highly fun and sporadic in nature. This early project of mine helped me to solidify my love for editing, and allowed me to have complete creative freedom which resulted in me learning many industry level techniques such as masking. Unfortunately my laptop at the time couldn’t handle how many effects and cuts there were in the video and so I was unable to ever properly export it and had to use OBS to screen record it. The files have since become corrupted with the only remaining evidence of the music video now being this screen recording I luckily uploaded to YouTube. Technology eh.
