The Liquorice Man is a 2023 experimental horror university short film of which I was the editor, cinematographer, music composer, voice over artist, and assistant director. It follows the horrifying character known as the Liquorice Man as he makes his way to his next unknowing victims…
Working on this short was an extremely valuable experience for me, as I learned what it was like taking on different roles that make up the filmmaking process, and being able to work with a professional actor for the first time, helped me to get a real sense of what it’s like on a real film set and the patience, and professionality needed to perfect the writer’s vision.

Hi there, my name is Thomas. I’m currently an aspiring film editor and final year film student at University Centre Leeds.
I have been editing videos since the age of 12, and in that time I’ve taught myself how to use a variety of editing programs including Premiere Pro, After Effects, iMovie, CapCut, and Photoshop.
I am well versed in all these programs and will utilise my creative and technical skills to turn your footage into the end product you want to see.
Whether it be a music video, promotional video, short film, YouTube video or graphic design piece, I will ensure to produce a professional, efficient, and cohesive final product, whatever your creative desires.
